The GR® 34 is a 2,000 km coastal path linking Vitré in Ille-et-Vilaine and Le Tour-du-Parc in Morbihan. It allows you to walk along almost the entire Breton coastline. The GR® 34 takes up the itinerary of the routes taken by customs officers, between the 18ᵉ century and the 20ᵉ. century. These trails enabled them to monitor the Breton coastline and combat smuggling.
Route ideas on the GR® 34: the Gulf of MorbihanThe GR® 34 links Auray to Vannes via the coast. This itinerary is ideal for discovering the foreshore and the charming ports of Le Bono, Arradon and Conleau. It’s the perfect place to admire this superb combination of land and sea. The Gulf of Morbihan is criss-crossed by some 100km of signposted paths.
The Lorient Interceltic Festival: a must-see event
Think about reserve your tickets from December 8 for the Festival Interceltique de Lorient (Emvod ar Gelted en Oriant), taking place from August 12 to 18, 2024! This is the world’s biggest gathering of Celtic cultures, with a program featuring folk, jazz, rock and classical music and song.
For this 53ᵉ edition, the programming focuses on youth, new talent and new bands. Biniou, bombarde, gaïta, lowland pipeband… This will be an opportunity to discover instruments from Brittany, Scotland, Ireland and Galicia…
Water sports near Saint Philibert
La Trinité-sur-Mer has made the most of its exceptional location between the Quiberon peninsula and the Gulf of Morbihan. Today, the commune boasts one of Brittany’s largest marinas. Naturally, there’s plenty of room for water sports.

La Trinité-Sur-mer is also the ideal starting point for trips up the Crac’h river to the Bay of Quiberon, the Gulf of Morbihan, and even to Belle-Ile, Houat and Hoëdic.
Fishing on foot
Good shoes, a bucket, tide tables in your pocket… and off to the rocks! Here are just a few of the great fishing spots in the area:
- at St-Philibert, the Men-er-beleg headland, where you can fish for oysters, mussels, periwinkles, barnacles and curlers
- at La Trinité-Sur-Mer, on the Pointe de Kerbihan, where you can feast on mussels, barnacles and étrilles.
- in Carnac, at Beaumer beach to find cockles, razor clams and birgorneaux
- in Locmariaquer, on the cliff beach, you can pick up oysters, cockles, clams, mussels and even crabs.

Many walks possible from the campsite very close to La Trinité sur mer just the bridge to cross …. managers and staff very welcoming … we will return with pleasure
Beautiful region!
A well-maintained campsite with plenty of space for motorhomes. We had a very pleasant short stay near La Trinité Sur Mer, which we visited from the campsite by electric bike.
We would like to thank the management for their friendliness and hospitality, and we look forward to returning to this establishment.
